NAP CANNOT TAKE ALL CASES
NAP recognizes that many clients have issues that are important and may impact their lives, however, not all issues can be resolved by legal intervention or advocacy. New Mexico Legal Aid Native American Program evaluates applications to determine whether legal intervention and advocacy will achieve family and economic stability and advance access to justice. Cases are evaluated by attorneys who consider the merits of the case, NAP’s available resources, and the potential for a favorable outcome through NAP’s intervention.
